Ron Wilson to host 2SM Breakfast in 2025
Ron Wilson will host the Super Radio Network‘s 2SM Breakfast show in 2025.
Wilson says “I’m so excited. I’ve had a fabulous 10 years with smooth FM. Bogart Torelli, Peter Clay, Byron Webb, we’re all friends outside work too and it is the place to go if you want to listen to music. But if you want to talk and know what is happening in Sydney, that’s my and the network’s focus. 2SM was my first station back in 1979. The enthusiasm of Despina and George is infectious! The carpets in the building haven’t changed though.”
George Caralis says Wilson is the perfect fit for the relaunch of 2SM.
“2SM is offering positivity instead of negativity. Hiring top talent instead of letting them go. We are all super excited about a brand new local sound and look.”
Wilson starts his new role on Monday January 13, 2025.
Wowsers. What a great get for 2SM. Very interested to see how the evolution of the Super Network continues under the current generation.
Sarah Macdonald would also be a great fit and a lift to the station.

I think 2SM should re join the ratings – they would be pleasantly surprised in how many listeners they have on 1269 like me
Please fix the DAB audio quality. It’s marginally better than the AM band. Or if not tell me how I can get it on CarPlay! Seems almost impossible unless I hack some apps and urls together.
No to Ron absolutely boring morning radio you 2sm goin to go down in ratings for sure .
