Radio Today leads transparency & engagement

Staff Writer

Radio Today has always been transparent with our numbers. Each month we publish the audited figures from Nielsen Market Intelligence – however they come out.

Our January figures were down slightly to 19,978. This is a decrease of 14% on December, although with the holiday period we had expected a slight decline. Our Page Impressions fell by 6% to 115,578.

However, in what is traditionally the quietest radio month, we were pleased to see that our 'engagement' – the number of comments that we publish – was solid. Through January, Radio Today published nearly 400 of your comments on our content.

We designed the site to be a dialogue with you, so this is an important KPI for us, and one that we have consistently measured.

Whilst Radio Today remains the only dedicated radio industry site to have its site figures independently measured and audited, our view is that all sites should be this transparent and move to the model that we have advocated and we hope ultimately that will be the case.

In the meantime, see our audited January figures below, and click on the summary for the full masthead report.
