Radio Today: first for breaking news

The departure of Hughesy and Kate has been officially announced by dmg Radio, you can read the media release here. General Manager Helen Davies has said;

"Hughesy & Kate are truly incredible talents…there's a lot of celebrating to do between now and their final show which will be deservedly a momentous send off"

Radio Today was first with the news and audio of the departure.

8.10am	Hughesy and Kate reveal on Nova 100 that they will be finishing with the station at the end of 2013.
8.24am	Radio Today Editor Mark Hales breaks the Hughesy & Kate story online.
8.35am	Radio Today publishes exclusive audio from flashlog of the announcement.
8.37am	The Herald Sun in Melbourne publishes the news.
8.59am	The Age publishes the news.
9.57am	Mediaweek publishes the story.
10.10am	Nearly two hours after the story broke, Radio Info publish the story. Later than, well, pretty much everyone.
