One week left to apply for CRA’s Brian White Scholarship

If you’re a final year journalism or communications student looking for your chance to break into the world of commercial radio news, there’s now just one week left to apply for The Brian White Scholarship.

Awarded annually by Commercial Radio & Audio (CRA), the scholarship offers the next generation of journalists a direct path into the industry through hands-on experience in commercial radio newsrooms, including a paid four-week placement at Nine Radio, ARN, NOVA Entertainment or SCA.

Last year, Grace Barlow (main photo) hit ‘send’ on her application, not expecting much.

Not only did Grace become the 2024 Brian White Scholar, as a direct result, she received two job offers and has since accepted a news position at ARN
