Nozz scores MCM Media job

Staff Writer

Less than a month since Brett 'Nozz' Nossiter left dmg where he was working on DAB+ (see here) he has scored the job as Content Acquisitions and Partnership Director at MCM Media.

Nozz will work with record labels, talent managers and entertainment publicists on content for Take 40, The Hot Hits, VEVO, My Generation, Party People and ARIA Charts.

MCM Media's Group CD Sam Thompson says:

“As we continue to deliver content that our audience and customers love, Nozz is the perfect fit. His experience covers radio, digital, syndication and artist relations and he knows how to find the right balance between talent, a brand and the fans.”

Before working at dmg, Nozz had been the MD and PD for MusicMax and Channel [V] as well as working at Austereo.

Nozz says:

"This will be a big year for MCM Media and I am extremely excited to be joining their talented team. I can't wait to get stuck into creating fresh, innovative music content for the artists and our partners. I also look forward to taking over from Simon Joyce as the best looking man in the company."

The role was previously held by Luke Wallis who finishes up on the 28th.

“We acknowledge and respect Luke’s need to remain in Melbourne as the best course for his family at this time” says Sam. “Luke has played a significant role across many aspects of the business and delivered some incredible content during his 10 years with MCM Media. We wish him all the best.”

Nozz will start April 22.
