Nova’s Nick, Luttsy & Susie O’Neill stalk the wrong film set – and miss major star right in front of them

Nova Brisbane’s Nick, Luttsy and Susie O’Neill recently took the Nova tag line Don’t Think, Just Nova to the streets when they stalked the wrong film set … and missed a major Hollywood star standing right in front of them.

The Courier Mail’s Entertainment Reporter Mike Gambaro – affectionately known to Nova listeners as Scoop Dog – revealed on-air this morning that the Nova 106.9 received intel a few weeks ago that filming was taking place locally, so they left the Nova studio to crash the set of what they thought was Kevin Costner and Jake Gyllenhaal‘s new film Honeymoon with Harry.

But Scoop Dog revealed that the Nova crew unwittingly crashed the set of an entirely different production.

Scoop Dog said “Rupert Everett has been filming in Brisbane recently. Many people will know him from My Best Friend’s Wedding, where he starred alongside Julia Roberts, and as the voice of Prince Charming in the Shrek films.”

“The funny part of this story is that you guys almost met him without realising it.”

“You took your show on the road looking for Kevin Costner and Jake Gyllenhaal, who are filming in Queensland. You headed to Customs House thinking you were at their production set.”

“You were on the set of Fortitude Valley, a new crime drama being filmed in Queensland.”

“You were so focused on finding Kevin Costner that Rupert Everett slipped under the radar.”
