Nova’s Marty Sheargold announces 2020 stand-up tour

Nova National Drive host Marty Sheargold has announced a national comedy tour for 2020.

Having not done any stand-up since 2002, Marty returned to the stage this year with a successful run of shows around the country.

The co-host of Australia’s #1 Drive show will perform on a more comprehensive run of dates in Cairns, Adelaide, Hobart, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney. The run also includes the Adelaide Fringe Festival.

Marty revealed the news live on air this week on Kate, Tim & Marty.

“It was absolutely fantastic fun, it went really well… mainly because I did a lot of Billy Connolly’s gear,” said Marty.

“You’re giving people what they want!” said Kate. “When you want more Shigs, you gotta think outside the box!”

“The reason I’m thankful you’re going back on the road is the amount of DMs I get,” said Tim. “Can you get me a ticket to Shiggsy.”
