Nova Fresh Country: New streaming station launches Friday

Reporter

This Friday, the Nova Network launches its latest streaming station, Nova Fresh Country.

For both the die-hard country lovers as well as the country-curious, the new station will cover all the latest country music chart toppers, including Luke Combs, Zach Bryan and Morgan Wallen, up-and-coming stars, and home-grown Aussie country talent.

As part of the launch, Nova has partnered with Ridin’ Hearts Festival to give country music lovers the chance to win tickets to the 2024 event.

Listeners can tune in on launch day this Friday to find out how they can win tickets.

Australians have welcomed the genre back to the mainstream, with statistics revealing our nation as one of the largest country music markets in the world.

Nova Network Music Director Jodie Williams says the playlist on Nova stations reflects this shift.

“Country music has snuck into the mainstream and music lovers aren’t upset about it. Whether you enjoy the cross overs with Beyonce and Post Malone, or you’re ready to start learning line-dances off TikTok, the popularity of country music is here to stay, and Nova Fresh Country will be the perfect place to get your fix.”

Tune into Nova Fresh Country from 10am on Friday 14 June via the Nova Player.
