We are excited to welcome the newest member of our team here at Star 104.5! We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Producer to join Gina and Matty on our award-winning, and Number 1 breakfast show here on the Central Coast.

Broadly, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with Gina, Matty and the Program Director to ideate and execute compelling content targeted to our core demographic
  • Ensure Gina and Matty are fully briefed and prepared and understand every element that is happening on the Breakfast Show.
  • Ensure the energy and mood in the studio is always positive and fun
  • Answer phones (you never let a call to the studio go unanswered!)
  • Work with production daily to organise any required audio for the Breakfast Show along with daily show promos, replay content and Podcast audio.
  • Panel segments or shows, so you will be required to have a thorough understanding of Zetta and modern broadcast equipment.
  • Assist the Program Director and the wider Product Team when required.

Why we want to meet you

  • You are detail-oriented and ready to take your next career step forward.

  • You aren’t afraid to go the extra mile or put in the extra time to perfect a segment, track down a guest, edit a video or do socials like a boss. You know what keeps an audience listening – and what makes them tune out.
  • Most importantly, you understand it’s a privilege to be invited into the lives of our audience each day, and you never take that for granted.
