Nova Adelaide go old school

Nova Adelaide turned a negative into a positive this morning following a catastrophic failure of the stations Maestro server.

The server failed at 6.55am – right on peak listening time – and was not restored until 7.40am. With maestro down there was no music, no sweepers, no commercials – anything from maestro was unavailable.

The Breakfast show of "Maz, Dan and Shane" could only take callers, and play music from a CD found in the studio – So Fresh Summer 2011. Callers had suggestions generally along the lines of 'control/alt/delete', although 12-year old Nova listener Nick seemed to have the answer.
