Ninajirachi and Amyl & the Sniffers win J Awards
From Unearthed High to now being one of Australia’s most exciting and innovative names in EDM, Ninajirachi (pictured) has taken out the 2025 J Award for triple j’s Australian Album of the Year for I Love My Computer and the video for ‘Fu*k My Computer’ was crowned triple j and rage Australian Music Video of the Year, with director Ball Bass John bringing the single to life with a nostalgic nod to the early 2000s.

About to support AC/DC, with a Grammy nomination and after tearing up stages nationwide and making waves overseas, Melbourne’s pub-punk powerhouses Amyl & The Sniffers have claimed Double J Australian Artist of the Year.
Capping off a breakout year, Folk Bitch Trio scored Unearthed Artist of the Year and hardcore collective SPEED won triple j Australian Live Act of the Year.
For more than 20 years, the J Awards have been a celebration of the best and brightest local music during Ausmusic Month. 26 local artists scored nominations with winners across each of the five award categories announced on triple j Drive with Abby & Tyrone.
