New home for the Ned & Josh Podcast
The Ned & Josh Podcast has a new home.
After a few weeks of quietly recording out of Lonsdale Street Studio, the daily comedy podcast – made in Canberra and heard in over 116 countries – has officially embarked on a new chapter right in the creative heart of the nation’s capital.
Josh Torney, who co-hosts the podcast alongside Ned Breward, says “Damien, Sam and the whole Lonsdale Street Studio team have been wonderful to work with, the collaboration has us excited about so many ideas we can tap into moving forward.”
“The technology available to us here is tailor made for 2025’s content ecosystem. It easily outpaces most radio studios I have worked in. The ways we are going to be able to connect with the audience now are really limitless.”
“Everything our audience has been asking for from the podcast is now going to be available to us from our new home,” says Ned.
“Video content for every social platform, full length video episodes, live streams. I think when all is said and done, people will regret asking for more content from us!”

The shift marks more than just a location change. It is a statement about what is possible when creators back themselves.
“You are seeing content creators all over the world take their ideas and shows to an audience that is keen to support them,” says Josh. “The idea that great voices need to wait to be given a platform is just an outdated way of thinking.”
Podcast audiences in Australia continue to surge.
No longer merely a trend, on-demand content is quickly becoming the standard for a generation who’ve grown up curating their own media diet.
“We have built these studios to give creators access to tools usually reserved for broadcast networks: multi-cam video switching, broadcast audio, acoustic treatment, and full end-to-end production support,” says Damien Maher, Founder of Lonsdale Street Studio.
“Ned and Josh represent exactly the kind of creator this space was built for: independent, ambitious, and genuinely connected to their audience.”
Lonsdale Street Studio is now open to other local creators, with production packages for every budget. Whether they’re just starting out or ready to scale up, it’s a space built to empower creators to launch, grow, and elevate their work on their own terms.

Miss them on radio but it’s great to see them doing so well.
What a fumble for radio. Good on these guys.
