New 24/7 triple j Hottest 100 station unveiled

From 17 July, the j’s arsenal will grow with the upcoming introduction of the new 24/7 triple j Hottest 100 station, triple j Hottest.

triple j Hottest will spin more than 30 years of Hottest 100 content from the annual music countdown that sees Australians across the country vote for their top picks each year. 

The 24/7 stream will give listeners the opportunity to get lost in nostalgia as uninterrupted tracks from every annual Hottest 100 countdown are played, along with Hottest 100 of All-Time countdowns, the 2011 Hottest 100 of Australian Albums, the Hottest 100 of the Decade (2010s), and the Hottest 100 of Like A Version.

triple j Hottest will also play archival interviews, explore Hottest 100 history and provide updates from artists that haven’t heard from in a while.

Today was also the last day for voting for the Hottest 100 of Like A Version.

The Hottest 100 of Like A Version countdown will commence on triple j and Double J this Saturday July 15th. You can also listen via the triple j app, Instagram, TikTok and, for the first time, livestream via triple j YouTube.

triple j Hottest launches Monday, July 17 at 9:30am AEST on the triple j and ABC listen apps.
