NOVA’s Natalie Murray secures new job at MediaSmiths following redundancy

Former Editor & Content Director

One of the casualties of NOVA Entertainment’s recent round of redundancies, Natalie Murray, has landed on her feet with a new gig at a media agency.

Murray was let go by NOVA along with approximately 70 others due to the impact of COVID-19 on radio revenues.

She had been working in the client response team for T2 agencies.

“I’m happy I got the privilege to work for such an amazing company – the way they look after their employees is like no other,” she said at the time. “I’m also thankful I got to work alongside a great leader who I will be forever grateful for the opportunity and support he has given me over the years.”

Murray said she was on the lookout for media buying and planning opportunities, or something in research and insights, or accounting/ bookkeeping.

She has now secured a role as senior media buyer/ planner at boutique media agency MediaSmiths.

On LinkedIn, Murray said she was looking forward to “achieving high results for my new clients”.

“I joined MediaSmiths to be part of an established and reputable independent media agency that is doing work I believe in – with integrity and aligned values – while working alongside great leaders that support not only their clients but also their employees in achieving exceptional success in their careers,” she added in a statement.

Congrats Nat and I’m sure you will go on to prove what a mistake it was to let you go.
Go forward and show ’em how wrong they were in letting you go
