Mixx FM surges in Colac’s updated survey area

The Colac region has been surveyed for the first time since 2018, but a change in the survey area and population potential has brought a fresh start for record keeping.

• 11.8 – 3CS 
• 11.4 – ABC Radio Melbourne

Mixx FM is the most preferred station in the Colac region, well ahead of 3CS and ABC Radio Melbourne, which were also popular choices in the area. 

Age demographic results show Mixx is very popular in ages from 10 through to 64.

3CS was the most popular station for audiences 65+, while youth station triple j was the second choice for ages 10 to 39, with a good chunk of 40-54 also tuning in. 

Mixx FM is the most preferred station in all time slots throughout the day, well ahead of 3CS and ABC Radio Melbourne, which sit very close together in all time periods.
