Mix94.5’s Blake Williams announced as host for 2018 WAM Awards

Blake Williams, of Mix94.5‘s weekly show ‘The Scene’, has been announced as co-host for the 2018 West Australian Music Awards.

The WAM Awards are a celebration of local music and local talent and are a perfect fit for Williams, whose weekly radio show does just that.

“It’s an absolute honour to be co-MC’ing WA music’s night of nights!” Williams said.

“I’ve attended may years of WAM Award celebrations and it’ll be a thrill to be among the action for 2018.

“For the past several decades, WA has proven it creates some of the best new music in the country and the WAM Awards is our moment to pat our local musicians on the back.

“It’s an exciting time for WA music and I’m proud to be a part of it!”

The 2018 WAM Awards take place on Thursday, November 1 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Perth.
