Mix offers a million dollars, but keeps it

Recently, Mix106.3 offered its listeners the chance at one million dollars.

The on air component of  the competition was the Million Dollar Name Game and listeners registered online then had to phone the station in three minutes if their name was announced on air.

Successful listeners went into a draw and 106 were chosen to attend a Mix106.3 outside broadcast with Kirsten and Rod.

From there, one listener was chosen to pick from 106 bags on a wall. One bag was worth the million, the others were worth $1063.

No, the station didn’t have to cough up the mill, their winner chose one of the 105 non-million dollar bags.
