Mix 102.3’s Erin & Soda reunite lost dog with owner on air
Mix 102.3’s Breakfast show Erin & Soda took to the airwaves yesterday to locate the owner of a lost dog found roaming the streets of Adelaide.
The pooch was found in West Lakes by Erin Phillips at 4:30am as she made her way to the station.
After putting the call out on air and posting the lost dog across Facebook, the team managed to get in touch with Seaton local Rosa, who was taking care of the dog – named Ronnie – while her sister was in hospital.
Rosa, who had been frantically searching for Ronnie from 5am, was tipped off about the dog’s whereabouts by a friend who had seen it posted on Erin & Soda’s Facebook, with Rosa documenting her shock for the Mix 102.3 Breakfast team.
“My heart dropped, and I was like ‘Oh my god. That’s my dog. How on Earth is he at Mix 102.3 right now?’,” Rosa said.
Before Rosa was able to make her way into the Mix 102.3 studios to pick up Ronnie, the dog did manage to leave its mark on the studio carpet on more than one occasion.
