Michael Brissenden: ABC AM

Michael Brissenden has been named the new presenter of ABC Radio’s nationwide breakfast flagship AM.  

A double Walkley Award winning journalist, Michael has been with the ABC for 28 years including stints as a political  journalist and foreign correspondent in Moscow, Europe and the US.  He has also worked on ABC Televisions 7:30 Report.

Michael stepped into the AM role in January as a fill in for Chris Uhlmann, who left to become the network’s political editor. Michael has now been appointed as the network program’s permanent presenter.
