Thunder Bolts & Lightning

NSW and South East Queensland have been getting hammered by thunderstorms over the last few days.

Yesterday afternoon a massive storm ripped through the Gold Coast, so big that it struck 1029 Hot Tomato’s transmitter and took them off air for 1 hour and 2 minutes, along with all the other radio and TV stations on the Gold Coast.

lt's all good though, Luke Bradnam from 1029 Hot Tomato’s Mal and Luke Show was onto it, preparing for his first break when the station would finally go back on-air.

Hope he's ready. More thunderstorms are forecast for this afternoon, so who knows what could happen on the Goldie!
