With the end of the survey year fast approaching, NOVA Entertainment is about to unleash a marketing blitz in Sydney.

The multi-platform campaign launches this Sunday and will focus on what NOVA describes as its “passion” – to provide the freshest hits, highlight the power of live entertainment and showcase station’s on-air lineup.

An evolution of the Love Nova TVC series, the new Nova 96.9 Sydney commercials will run across free-to-air television, out of home, digital sites, social and cinema.

The new campaign will also see Breakfast duo Fitzy & Wippa, Mornings host Smallzy and Drive show trio Kate, Tim & Marty feature on outdoor billboards and transit advertising in key locations.

For the first time, the Fitzy & Wippa creative will feature the broader on-air team including newsreader Matt De Groot, co-host Sarah McGilvray and executive producer Tom Ivey, to visually represent the team you hear when listening to the show.

The campaign also draws on the popularity of international and local artists including Miley Cyrus, the Black Eyed Peas, Shawn Mendes, Amy Shark and Guy Sebastien.

Paul Jackson, NOVA Entertainment’s chief programming and marketing officer said, “The continued involvement of the world’s biggest artists in Nova’s marketing campaign, reinforces Nova as the number one music network in Australia.

“Combined with our consistent and leading on-air line ups, and significant media investment, we are committing to delivering our audience the best on-air experience.”

Nova 96.9’s new marketing campaign launches Sunday, October 27.

I work in radio in London and just saw this.
You Australians are usually quite original and creative with your marketing. This is the most blatant rip off of the Capital ads I’ve ever seen.
If you squint and turn the sound down you’d think you’re in the UK
….. and then I saw the name quoted in the article and thought…. of course!

@Dean from UK – it’s no secret that Nova have been using Capital’s marketing campaigns for years as their ‘inspiration’.
