Kyle & Jackie O rally behind Perth runner Brooke McIntosh after devastating theft
The KIIS Network’s Kyle & Jackie O have thrown their support behind Brooke McIntosh, a 29-year-old Perth athlete and motivational speaker who’s aiming to become the fastest woman to run around the country.
Brooke is now 13 weeks into her gruelling 14,080km journey, running 80km a day—the equivalent of two marathons daily—to raise $1.4 million for mental health charity The Blue Tree Project.

So far, she’s raised over $100,000.
Making do with the bare essentials, Brooke showers on the roadside and takes ice baths on the run.
But this week disaster struck when the Honda generator which powers her operation was stolen.
Live on air today, and with the support of Honda, Kyle and Jackie O surprised Brooke with the news that a brand-new generator is heading her way.

Kyle Sandilands said “We’ve reached out to our friends at Honda and told them you’re doing this run and they loved it.”
“They are going to dispatch a brand-new generator immediately to your location. We can’t have this mission broken down – it’s for a great cause.”
Jackie O added “We think you’re amazing, Brooke. It’s incredible what you’re doing!”
Eva Barrett, General Manager Brand and Marketing at Honda said “We are very proud to support Brooke on her journey by donating an EU32i generator.”
Thrilled with the news, Brooke said “That’s amazing, thank you so much guys!”
You can follow along Brooke’s journey here and make a donation here.
Why not send some of ARNs money towards the charity too, instead of asking a supplier to donate in kind. Put your money where your mouth is.
Arent they just wonderful , the spin campaign continues
@kenny the koala you are absolutely right! ARN are too busy hogging their money and making themselves so selfish and greedy!
