K rock welcomes Tim and Jess for the drive home

As Geelong continues to bask in its AFL premiership glory, local station K rock has some exciting news of its own, welcoming Tim Bolch and Jess Pantou for the drive home.
K rock Content Director Tom Lewis says “Bringing an exceptional team like Tim and Jess to Geelong is a real coup for both K rock and the town. They’re incredibly accomplished broadcasters and a hell of a lot of fun. I can’t wait for them to get here and really knock the socks off our listeners.”
Tim says “Moving back to the coast with my wife and finding a place to settle down is huge for us. We are really excited about getting into the community and can’t wait to call Geelong home.”
“Jess and I have had nearly 7 years of early mornings together doing breakfast radio, so it might be strange taking over the drive show on K rock, but at the end of the day, we are still gonna be having fun making radio together so that’s all that really matters! And if I miss my buddy around breakfast time, I’ll just invite myself over and steal her toast! Problem solved!”
Jess adds “Tim and I are so thrilled to be joining the K rock family! Looking forward to switching off the 3:30am alarms and getting out to explore everything Geelong and the Surf Coast has to offer!”
Tim and Jess will make their K rock debut at 4pm on Monday October 17

These two are truly unsung legends of Aussie radio.
Lovely humans and exceptional broadcasters with a great chemistry.
Can’t wait to see what they can do with drive.
It must be noted that Tim and Jess have been at SCA for more than 5 years and have moved markets 3 times and have proven themselves (each time to a larger market).
SCA didn’t want to pay them any more $$ – so they moved to a larger market and competitor….. and got more $$$. SCA’s loss is ARN’s gain….
Excellent broadcasters (and people) that will take an un-matched work ethic to one of the mighty local brands of Australian radio.
Wonderful news all round.
These two exceptional humans are going to make Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula fall in love with them, as they have done in all the other markets they’ve worked.
Congratulations Tim and Jess. Can’t wait to hear you on K rock. Enjoy the sleep ins.
