Jo Stanley hopeful she and Lehmo will work together again

Jo Stanley and Anthony ‘Lehmo’ Lehmann may have been axed from Gold 104.3 despite hitting the top spot in the FM Breakfast ratings last year, but Jo is hopeful that the duo will reunite on radio one day.

Jo told News Corp that she misses working with Lehmo, especially given the momentum the show had started to build at the back end of 2017.

“GOLD is done and I never think about it, but the one thing I miss is working with Lehmo and I feel like we had only just hit our straps,” she said.

“We already knew that they were not going to renew our contracts and then that survey came out, so it was very sweet, but we are not privy to the decision-making process.

“I have a huge amount of faith that Lehmo and I will work together again.

“We are working on a podcast idea at the moment, but I also know with certainty that I will go back to radio at some point.”

Jo and Lehmo were axed without a replacement, and though UK presenter Christian O’Connell is set to replace them, there is still no start date for his new show.
