Could Adelaide Crows star Taylor ‘Tex’ Walker be bound for Summer Bay?

This week on Triple M’s Adelaide Breakfast show Roo, Ditts & Loz, Laura ‘Loz’ O’Callaghan dropped a rumour that Tex could be joining the cast of Home and Away.

Rumour has it Tex has been spotted spending time with Home and Away star Stephanie Panozzo, and that Tex himself has long been fan of the show.

“I think they’re going to get him on. I don’t know whether it’s a cameo as himself or if he’s any good … whether he’s going to be Irene’s toy boy,” Loz said.

“I saw something on the Home and Away page that they met him … they were catching up and hanging out with the people from Home and Away.”

“There’s something going on. They were hanging out. Roo, trust me, there’s something going.”

If it’s true, Tex wouldn’t be the first athlete to appear on the soap opera.

Lleyton Hewitt, Ian Thorpe and Kostya Tszyu have all had a crack at acting too.
