“I’m a political animal”: Stephen Cenatiempo on new Triple M gig

Staff Writer

Multi ACRA winner Stephen Cenatiempo has a new gig. The former 2NM news director and morning announcer has joined the Triple M regional network to host a new talk back-based nights show.

In a Facebook post, Cenatiempo confirmed he’s tendered his resignation and from next year, he’ll be broadcasting across 29 Triple M Stations.

In an interview with Radio Today last year, the Brian White memorial winner outlined his career aspirations and it would seem the move to Triple M fits the bill.

“Radio current affairs and talk radio are really something I’ve wanted to do for as long as I can remember, but it’s one of those industries that unless you’re in it, you don’t know how to get in it”.

“I’m a political animal and have always had that interest and current affairs bent. Getting into radio, that was always going to be the way I’d go”.

Australia By Night with Stephen Cenatiempo will air January 21st, 2018.

I preferred the two fill in guys, Paddy and Mark who did the show when Steven was away.

They were funny and entertaining
