iHeartRadio App Upgrade
iHeartRadio from ARN have launched a new look for the iHeartRadio Australia app.
The upgraded app features a fresh new look and a simpler and more intuitive interface with even more ways for listeners to discover and enjoy the music they love.
They have also improved the search features and simplified controls and the ability to save and easily access station favourites.
It’s been a big year for iHeartRadio, clocking over 500,000 downloads in 2014 and upping the marketing ante with branded events like the Ultimate Pool Party held in Sydney recently.
Geraint Davies COO and Head of iHeartRadio Australia said: “We know our listeners are going to love the new iHeartRadio app. It looks amazing, is so easy to use and has a range of new features that offer listeners an even more personalised iHeartRadio experience with access to more of the music and artists they want.”
The app’s slick new look makes for easier navigation while putting album covers and station logos centre stage.
New to the app is the ‘For You’ feature, which includes a genre selection tool for improved station recommendations, tailored specifically for each listener.
Once downloaded, listeners will be able to select their favourite music genres, choosing from a wide selection including top 40 and pop, country, hip hop and R&B, rock, alternative, news and talk, sports, classic rock, jazz, classical, comedy, world, college radio, and reggae and island.
Listeners will then get recommendations based on location, genres selected and music previously listened to and thumbed up, and recently played custom and live stations.
The iHeartRadio app provides access to more than 1,500 radio stations, user-created custom stations inspired by a favourite artist or song, thousands of curated digital stations "Perfect For" any mood or activity.
The new iHeartRadio mobile app is available for download in the iTunes and Google Play app stores.
