Ice bath, plus tatt. Alex & Krystal go beyond the call for World’s Greatest Shave

Having already smashed their $1,500 fundraising target for World’s Greatest Shave, Power FM Ballarat Breakfast duo Alex Newman and Krystal Roker decided to take things up a notch.

With Alex having already shaved his head for the cause, he and Krystal literally took the plunge, hopping into an ice bath.

And as if that wasn’t enough, Alex got a tattoo.

Alex and Krystal were joined by a team from APCO Service Stations, whose donation got them over the $4000 line.

This in turn locked in Alex’s tattoo.

APCO even brough its mascot APCO Joe along.

World’s Greatest Shave representatives came along as well, with the charity saying “Kiril and Maggie (WGS representatives) are still beaming and honestly, we are too. Over $4,000 raised and a community-voted tattoo to top it off … that is commitment!”
