Howson set to stay on ABC Brisbane

The Brisbane Times have reported that 612 ABC breakfast host, Spencer Howson, is set to sign a new two year deal to stay.

Rumour was that the #1 breakfast host maybe on the move to 4BC but that doesn't look to be the case.

While the re-signing hasn't been announced, ABC Western Queensland mornings host Bernadette Young said on Twitter:

“Only my dream job could take me away from Longreach right now: I'm moving back to Brisbane to produce Spencer Howson on 612 Brisbane."

Howson then replied saying “…very happy to welcome Bernadette Young to 612 Breakfast in 2014.”
