How radio reflected the Boston tragedy

With the tragic events from the Boston Marathon breaking just before Australian breakfast shows started this morning, it led to many shows being able to reflect the ongoing story as it broke.

Hobart marathon runner Shane Mundy was taking part in the Boston Marathon and did various interviews across the country.

Marathon legend Robert de Castella spoke on 666 ABC Canberra and reported that Indigenous Australian runner Emma Cameron was safe.

"It's taken a while to track her down but I knew she was fine, but relieved that she's 100 per cent okay. She's a little bit upset but I think she has handled it really well."
