Hit 104.9 maintain the top spot: Albury Survey 1, 2022

The results for the Albury Survey 1, 2022 have been released today showing Hit 104.9 holding the top spot in the NSW/VIC border town.

Hit recorded a gain of +2.4 this survey with close followers 105.7 Triple M maintaining their pursuit with an increase of +1.7 in the 10+ category.

10+ Snapshot:

  • 28.1 – Hit 104.9 +2.4
  • 25.2 – 105.7 Triple M +1.7
  • 11.4 – ABC Goulburn Murray -1.8

Hit has maintained its tight grip on the 10-39 demographic with a slight drop in the 18-24, but Hits -1.4 fall is minor compared to triple j’s -8.3 plummet in the same bracket.

Overall, triple j recorded a slight +1.0 increase from increases in the 25-65+ that offset the falls in the main youth demographic of 10-24. It seems as though most of triple j’s -8.3 in the 18-24 slot have moved on to boost Triple M’s influence, with the cumes showing the same.

1494 2AY and ABC Goulburn Murray both showed similar disruptions in their 40+ demographics as listens distribute among competitors. In the 55-64 bracket, ABC Goulburn Murray and 2AY showed -6.0 and -7.7 losses respectively, although ABC Goulburn Murray had increases in the 10-39 areas.
