Dave ‘Higgo’ Higgins is back at Triple M from tonight
It’s been a few years between drinks, but Dave ‘Higgo’ Higgins is returning to the Triple M fold and is bringing the much-loved Distortion with him.
Higgo is back as host of Hard N Heavy; the latest DAB+ station from the Triple M Network, which launched in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane on October 1.
His first instalment of Distortion airs tonight at 8pm on DAB+, online and nationally through the Triple M app.
The show will celebrate “all things Hard Rock n’ Heavy”, with a focus of new music in the hard rock and heavy metal landscape.

Triple M Digital Radio content director Adam Williscroft says there was only one choice to take on the role for the new DAB+ channel.
“MMM Hard N’ Heavy is our newest brand extension from Triple M and is for lovers of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal,” Williscroft tells Radio Today.
“Higgo is exactly that! He’s back hosting Distortion, and is as passionate about the music and format as we are!”
Distortion with Higgo is not the only program he’ll be working on for the digital station.
Williscroft says Higgins will also be on hosting duties for a new, soon to be announced Australian music show.
