Hauraki goes on a bender

Staff Writer

Radio Hauraki in New Zealand has just finished their 3rd annual ‘No Sleep Till Breakfast’ event, this year moving from Auckland to Christchurch.

The ‘NSTB’ involves the Breakfast show “Matt & Jeremy” staying awake from 6am Thursday through to 9am Friday, with a fair bit of alcohol consumed, and plenty of ‘bad’ behaviour.

The event is positioned as “raising awareness for Benders”, and them partying on behalf of those of us who are unable to spend all night getting under the weather.

This years event also involved a massive listener party DJ’d by Hauraki Jock Mikey Havoc and Shihad frontman (and Hauraki Sunday host) Jon Toogood.

At one point earlier in the day (prior to alcohol being consumed!) Hauraki’s Matt & Jeremy decided to reposition an opposition stations billboard to a less visible part of Christchurch.
