Harvey Norman was radio’s most-played advertiser in 2018

With over eight million spots on Australian radio this year, Harvey Norman was comfortably the most-played advertiser throughout 2018.

The number one brand had over 200,000 ads placed across 53 stations, according to data released by AirCheck.

NOVA Entertainment’s Star 104.5 aired the most Harvey Norman ads, with 14,052 instances.

“Compared to 2017, Harvey Norman increased their advertising by 3.5% which meant an additional 7,081 spots,” said Aircheck client services executive Riarne Gale.

Domayne was the second most-played advertiser, with 133,929 ads places across 37 stations.

National Tiles came in third, with 119,112 across 30 stations.

Macquarie Media’s 3AW aired the most ads of any station, with 205,765 spots placed over the course of 2018.
