Hamish and Andy – Free Agents?
They wrapped up their latest Gap Year on Channel 9 – clocking up a stack of viewers over the last 4 years.
Hamish and Andy’s Gap Year series, took in the US, Europe, Asia and finally South America. The Herald Sun's – Confidential are reporting that the boys are free agents when it comes to TV as their 4 year contract with the Nine Network also wrapped up.
It’s also been four years, since Hamish and Andy gave up their fulltime network drive program across the country. They made a 2 week return back at the end of June during survey break for Dan and Maz on the Today Network.
Are they ready to make a return or are they planning their own personal Gap year for a bit?
Insiders suggest that SCA are keen to hire the duo for a national breakfast show, with one saying '"it would be a game changer for the Today Network, but the price may be too high."
It’s well known that Hamish and Andy are keen to keep doing TV, and are rumoured to also want to do a movie, which seems a natural progression.
There are also rumours that the duo are being sought by Lachlan Murdoch, with a source saying "Lachlan Murdoch is also keen to hire them for Ten, he's tried before. Getting them to Nova may be a little more difficult"
Now for “The worst pain known to man” – Not contract negotiations?
