Guy William to Exit Drive on The Edge

After three years, Guy Williams announced he will be leaving The Guy, Sharyn and Clint show on The Edge in NZ.

He will be pulling the pin at the end of the year to focus on television and other new projects but says the decision to leave radio was a tough one to make.

“It’s really hard to be leaving a show I’ve worked on for nearly three years and two of my best friends. Lucky it will be some small boots to fill for whoever gets the role. I’m really looking forward to working less in the future and focusing on my indoor netball career,” Guy said.

The Edge is now rolling out a new tactic on Drive to find a “new guy”, trialling new co- hosts during the coming months where listeners can register to have a shot.
