Garry Shannon’s New show on 6IX

With a new breakfast show set for 2016, Forever Classic 6iX’s Gary Shannon will host a new local Classic 6 at 6 weeknights

It will replace the syndicated Jonesy and Amanda Afternoon Delight with 6IX Program Director Stuart Endersby saying: “We are really pleased to have a legend like Gary Shannon join us as part of the weekday on air team. It’s a move back to local programming with Perth’s favourite radio son. The response to having Gary on weekends at Forever Classic 6iX has been extremely positive, it just makes sense to have him join us during the week”

General Manager Evan Broadway said: “Gary is a Perth radio legend and while we were really happy with the Afternoon Delight at 6pm, the opportunity to have a fully local show hosted by Gary was just too hard to resist. It’s another exciting change for Forever Classic 6iX in 2016”

The Classic 6 at 6 with Gary Shannon commences Monday January 4 2016.
