From Tamworth to Pakistan: Daniel Pizarro now delivering news for AsiaOne

Former 88.9FM Tamworth radio journalist Daniel Pizarro has embarked on his biggest career challenge to date, relocating to Pakistan as a presenter for the new global news channel AsiaOne.

Based in Karachi, Daniel will be among the hosts on the 24/7 English language channel, providing news, current affairs and entertainment for a global audience.

An experienced multimedia journalist, Daniel – an AFTRS graduate – has held various roles across radio and TV, including as a television news presenter at SCA in Launceston.

He was previously the News Director at Starter FM, Executive Producer for 2CC’s Drive show Canberra Live and a traffic reporter for atn.

Daniel also worked as newsreader at 2LF in Young and 2QN in Deniliquin.
