Fitzy & Wippa stitch up Sam Armytage with Karl Stefanovic

Fitzy and Wippa have been hanging out with Today‘s Karl Stefanovic whilst over in London covering the Royal Wedding, and they took the opportunity to team up stitch up Karl’s morning show competitors.

Both Nine’s Today and Seven’s Sunrise are broadcasting this week from London for the wedding, and their talent is staying in the same hotel.

So of course Fitzy and Wippa got Karl to call up his fierce rival Sam Armytage to try and convince her that he’d been upgraded to a penthouse suite.

“I just want to have it on the record that there’s no dramas between us. But now, let’s do a sting on her,” said Karl, before he agreed to do the call.

He then put the call through, but Sam didn’t initially realise who she was speaking to.

“It’s Karlos… you might know me from the Today show,” said Karl.

Sam wasn’t afraid to return service, responding with “I’ve never watched it, I hear it’s a bit second rate.”
