Fitzy has another boy

Nova 96.9's Fitzy and wife BJ have welcomed their second child, another boy (very cute pic below).

Speaking on the Sydney breakfast show this morning, Fitzy said:

“BJ has been in labour for 23 hours, we have just had a child, and I have just got off the phone to 14 AFL clubs because we’ve had another baby boy."

“We’ve named him Lennox Dean Fitzgerald so it’s going to be little Hewie and little Lenny."

“I’m going to get all serious and I’m probably going to get emotional too because I haven’t slept all night but when you do love someone so much and you see what they have to go through with that… I do not envy you ladies at all."

“(BJ) was in a different zone, she didn’t know who I was at one stage."

"Mate, I have the utmost respect for my wife, it was an amazing 23 hours and it was all worth it.”

The couple originally had another name chosen but changed their minds when they saw little Lennie for the first time.

“Our original name was Redmond and we liked the nickname Red (but) he’s got a full head of black hair, I’m so proud… he’s got more hair than me…..He’s hairier than you Wippa!”
