Fifi Box first to be eliminated on rebooted Dancing With The Stars
Fox FM radio star Fifi Box was the first celebrity contestant to be booted off the All Stars edition of Dancing With The Stars last night.
Box lamented on her radio show Fifi, Fev & Nick this morning that her six weeks of training, including learning five separate dances, hadn’t amounted to much.
Co-host Brendan Fevola, meanwhile, joked he’d wasted money betting on Box to take out the competition.
Dancing With The Stars judge Todd McKenney said of the performance: “I don’t know if it was ‘Murder On The Dancefloor'” – in reference to the song Box performed to – “it was certainly a crime scene at times”.
The show had 744,000 overnight metro viewers, according to preliminary figures from measurement body OzTAM. It was most popular in Box’s home town of Melbourne, where 249,000 tuned in, compared to 171,000 in Sydney.
The show was unable to toppled Channel 9’s Married At First Sight in the timeslot, which had an audience of 1.127 million metro viewers.
Podcaster and Nova talent Matty ‘J’ Johnson remains in the competition.
