Fev returns to Carlton for world record attempt

Reporter

Brendan Fevola from the Fifi, Fev & Nick brekky show on Melbourne’s Fox FM is back at his former AFL home, in a bid to take the ultimate mark.

He’s at Carlton’s Princes Park today, attempting to catch an American football dropped from a helicopter hovering at a height of 190 metres.

After narrowly missing the crown last year, today Fev will attempt the ‘Highest Altitude Catch of an American Football’ from more than 198.12m (650 feet) for the second time.

The Guinness World Record is currently set by American football star Rob Gronkowski who successfully caught the ball as it fell out of a helicopter at 188.9m (620 feet) in April 2021.

It will be a momentous return for Fev, who says “I haven’t been on that ground since 2009.”

The likes of Eddie McGuire, Luke Darcy, Warwick Capper and Nathan Brown are all in Fev’s corner, hoping for victory!
