Ex Radio Producer guilty of sex offences

A former 5AA Adelaide producer has today been found guilty on two charges of the persistent sexual exploitation of a child in the District Court.

Andrew Knoller Pearce, now 59, committed the offences between 1994 and 2002 against two male victims under the age of 17.

Both victims were family friends, and one he had known since birth, he was found not guilty on 6 other charges.

Pearce was the producer of the KG and Cornesy drive program on 5AA in Adelaide before leaving the station a number of years ago.

One of his victims, and that persons fiancee, read out victim impact statements in court today which you can read in the Advertiser here.

Pearce will be sentenced next week.
