ex DMG’er joins News

Former DMG Group Sales Director Jenny Parkes has joined News Limited as Director of Sales Operations for the new sales arm 'News Australia Sales' (NAS).

Parkes spent a brief time at DMG, and prior was with Austereo for 12 years.

She commented “The opportunity to work with Australia’s biggest and most exciting media sales organisation at this early stage in its evolution is irresistible. 

The planning and strategy that has gone into creating a genuinely customer focussed sales operation is already resonating in the market place.”

NAS chief commercial officer Tony Prentice said the reaction to NAS has been strong: “(Parkes) appointment demonstrates News Australia Sales’ commitment to investing in a world class operations function, working in conjunction with the sales team, to deliver the best solutions for our customers.”
