Early finish for axed KIIS Brisbane Breakfast team

Tomorrow (Friday, November 28) now looms as the final show for the axed KIIS Brisbane Breakfast radio team of Kip Wightman, Robin Bailey and Corey Oates.

As reported in the Courier Mail (subscription required), the trio has opted to finish two weeks early.

Today, they shared a short clip to their Instagram page, indicating that tomorrow’s show will indeed be their last.

Previously, they weren’t scheduled to finish until December 12.

News of their early exit comes a day after news that Wightman and Oates announced their next career move – teaming up with former NRL star Sam Thaiday for an unofficial Broncos-themed podcast.

Under a network shake up announced by ARN last month, Craig ‘Lowie’ Low will take over the KIIS 97.3’s Brisbane Breakfast show in 2026.
