By now you might have stumbled across the challenge to triple j’s Hottest 100 for Taylor Swift.

There’s a massive online push to get Taylor into the countdown with #Tay4Hottest100

But did ABC Managing Director Mark Scott kick it all off December 29th with his reply on Twitter?

While Taylor Swift's Shake It Off got zip airplay on triple j in 2014, by Tuesday this week there was a groundswell of support building from Taylor Swift fans to vote her into the “World’s Largest Music democracy”

To rub salt into the wound of the #Tay4Hottest100 supporters, triple j also posted a “swifty” with Shake it Off covered in  Like A Version.

Voting closes this Sunday night, with the Hottest 100 airing on Triple J from midday January 26.
