Del Fordham departs Nine to begin new Audible role

Del Fordham has wrapped up his role as Nine Entertainment’s Head of Podcasts, as he starts a new position today at Audible.

Headhunted by Amazon, Fordham is the new Associate Director of Audible for the APAC region, based out of Sydney.

Fordham joined Nine as Content Director in 2023. Prior to that, he was Head of Audio for News Corp Australia for four years.

His new role involves the production and commission of Audible’s slate of original content across the region.

Fordham tells Radio Today “Helping to build out the podcast content slate at Nine has been a career highlight.”

“In 2024 we reached our highest download number to date, and in 2025 I can see (and hear) that number going up again”

Fordham finished at Nine on Friday. He now looks forward to this latest adventure.
