Chewbacca hijacks Melbourne airwaves

Melbourne residents are advised to proceed with caution as a number of disturbances have been heard on local radio airwaves that sound like Chewbacca from Star Wars.

105.1 Triple M Melbourne’s ‘Dangerous Dave’ Williams and Gold 104.3’s Dave ‘Higgo’ Higgins are waging war on one another and the growls are being heard across the state.

The radio hosts appear to be challenging one another to a bout of finessing the best Chewbacca roar into the on-air songs at their respective stations.

Dave gained valuable ground last week, working Chewbacca into the Foo Fighters song, ‘Monkey Wrench.’

It wasn’t long before Higgo hit back with fusillade of Chewy in Queen’s, ‘We Will Rock You’ to settle the score.
