SCA’s Carly Portch gives Ted Talk on speaking your mind

Hit Network presenter Carly Portch is a multi-talented individual, recently giving a TEDx Talk.

She presented at a TEDx event at James Cook University in Cairns, at the uni’s Smithfield Campus. It was organised by the local community.

Portch is a speaker and MC, and also a published writer, blogger and podcaster – with her work appearing in Mamamia and news.com.au.

The talk was about being vulnerable and how just because you are in the public eye criticism doesn’t affect you.

“For even the most vocal people it can still take courage to be open and to speak your mind. Learning to live out loud isn’t easy but well worth it,” says the description.
