Bundaberg Broadcasters announces Corey Pitt as general manager

Bundaberg local Corey Pitt has been appointed to the role of general manager at Bundaberg Broadcasters.

Corey has a strong connection to the area and brings with him an impressive media career, and returns to look after Hitz93.9, 4BU and KIX.

He’s previously worked at Southern Cross Austereo as general manager of regional sales.

He returned to Bundaberg in 2006, having grown up in the area, coming back to launch lifestyle publication Horizon Magazine.

During his time in the area, Corey was also the vice president of the Bundaberg Chamber of Commerce.

“I have many fond memories of growing up in Bundaberg and look forward to catching up with old mates and colleagues as well as meeting new friends,” Corey said.

“I’ve lived in many regional centres around Australia and have always found the Bundaberg community to be so uniquely warm and welcoming.

“I know Hitz93.9, 4BU and Kix to be strong stations respectively, and I’m looking forward to working towards their continued growth.”
